Congratulations on the anticipated arrival of your new baby! I know that there are many things to consider when looking for a newborn photographer and appreciate that you’re here to learn more about my services. I offer both posed and lifestyle newborn sessions to meet your custom photography needs. I only take on a limited number of sessions per month in order to assure the best service for my clients so it’s never too early to reserve your spot on my calendar!
Full Posed Studio Session – $450
This session is for those parents who want the sweet, sleepy images of their newborn baby posed on blankets and in simple props. Each baby has different preferences for how much they want to be wrapped and which types of poses they prefer. I will always follow baby’s lead to keep our session as relaxed as possible.
What’s included:
- 3-4 hour session at my studio in Glen Ellyn, IL when the baby is 6-12 days new.
- 1-2 different blanket backdrops and 2-3 different prop setups, customized using my blankets and props (baskets, headbands, bonnets, etc!) based on your color preferences.
- Parent and sibling images taken against a studio backdrop.
- 20+ images carefully selected by me, edited, and delivered via a password protected online gallery within 2-3 weeks of the session. The full-resolution jpgs can be downloaded directly from the gallery.
What else to expect:
- In order to reserve your newborn session appointment on my calendar, a signed contract and $100 non-refundable retainer must be received. The remaining session fee balance is due before or at the time of your session.
- Upon booking, a newborn guide with more information on what to expect, what to wear, etc. will be e-mailed to you.
Mini Posed Studio Session – $350
During a mini posed studio session, individual portraits of your newborn will be taken while posed in props or on a big cozy, furry blanket. (Please note there will not be any posing done on the simpler blanket backdrops.)
What’s included:
- 1-2 hour session at my studio in Glen Ellyn, IL when the baby is 6-12 days new.
- 2-3 different prop setups, customized using my props (baskets, headbands, bonnets, etc!) based on your color preferences.
- Parent and sibling images taken against a studio backdrop.
- 10 images carefully selected by me, edited, and delivered via a password protected online gallery within 2-3 weeks of the session. The full-resolution jpgs can be downloaded directly from the gallery.
- If more than 10 images are presented in the gallery, additional digital images can be purchased for $20 each or $100 for the entire gallery.
What else to expect:
- In order to reserve your newborn session appointment on my calendar, a signed contract and $100 non-refundable retainer must be received. The remaining session fee balance is due before or at the time of your session.
- Upon booking, a newborn guide with more information on what to expect, what to wear, etc. will be e-mailed to you.
Lifestyle Session – $400
A lifestyle session will focus on the natural interactions with your new baby – eating, swaddling, snuggling, and just showing off those sweet baby toes! Most images will include the baby with his or her other family members, but some individual portraits of the baby will also be taken.
What’s included:
- 1-1.5 hour session at the hospital within the first 48 hours the baby is born (to capture them super fresh!) or in the comfort of your home within the baby’s first 2-3 weeks of life.
- Parent and sibling images taken wherever light is best in your home – snuggled on the master bed or couch are always great options.
- 35+ images carefully selected by me, edited, and delivered via a password protected online gallery within 2-3 weeks of the session. The full-resolution jpgs can be downloaded directly from the gallery.
Upgrade option available:
- If you are interested in upgrading your lifestyle session to include more posed images, I can also bring along the props necessary (bowls, baskets, a fluffy blanket, etc) to do 2 posed setups of your baby alone. The fee to upgrade is $100 and includes an additional 5 posed images.
What else to expect:
- In order to reserve your newborn session appointment on my calendar, a signed contract and $100 non-refundable retainer must be received. The remaining session fee balance is due before or at the time of your session.
- Upon booking, a newborn guide with more information on what to expect, what to wear, etc. will be e-mailed to you.
- An additional travel fee of $20 will be added for locations 20-30 miles from zip code 60137. Please contact me for pricing on travel inquiries greater than 30 miles.
